Installed by Sovereign Fire and Security, the cables made up new fire alarm systems fitted under the Building Schools for the Future programme.

Prysmian’s FP200 Gold 1.5mm 2 and 4 core FP200 Gold was fitted in the fire alarm systems and disabled refuges.

Neil Clements, director of Sovereign Fire and Security Ltd said: “Of the specified list of cables for this project, Prysmian FP200 Gold stood out from the rest. This cable is of a very high quality, is easy to install and use and of most importance complies with all the relevant British Standards.

FP200 Gold is also a product that is commercially viable as it is always readily available from wholesalers.”
