– Tsingua Mao Wu has used Legic technology to develop a cashless payment system for facilities on its new campus of more than two million square metres. It currently uses 1,730 Legic card readers.
– Cooper Asia has provided 100 Fireray 100R reflective smoke detectors as part of the complete fire safety and detection system at Longtan Hydropower Station in China – one of the world’s largest hydro-electric power stations.
– ITV Granada has been equipped with a large CCTV installation by Delta fire and Security, designed in conjunction with supplier ADI-Gardiner. As well as providing connectivity to a network of new and existing cameras, it also linked to and provided remote operation for two security lodges.
– AGE Electrical Services has installed vandal-resistant dome cameras from Rainbow at BP petrol stations across the United Kingdom, to aid general surveillance of the company’s forecourts.
– Signal Electronics has specified and installed an upgraded CCTV system control solution for Regency Casino, in Thessaloniki, northern Greece. It used Synectics’ SynergyPro control software to maximise the efficiency of the casino’s extensive camera network.
– Southwest Microwave says its Intrepid MicroPoint cable intrusion detection system has now been installed on seven million feet of perimeter fence worldwide. It is tie-wrapped to a facility’s perimeter fence, where it detects vibrations along the fence fabric.
