Lone worker company Geonovo gets a new chief executive
Previously Lusty held senior international sales and marketing roles for a number of technology companies and led a management buyout of software provider TIS Software Ltd from Misys in 1999.
At the same time Geonovo has acquired the key assets and business of Romad Ltd, including its lone protection worker product, the Romad RSP-100. It has retained Romad personnel in both the UK and at its facility in South Korea.
Speaking about his new appointment, Lusty said: “We are a well funded company which is able to provide continuity of support and supply for all existing Romad customers.
“I will be working with an experienced and committed management team which shares my confidence that the RSP-100 and other equally innovative new products which we will be introducing in the future, will equip us to achieve a major share of the lone worker protection and mobile telecare market.”
Joining Lusty at Geonovo is non-executive chairman, David Mason, who has worked in the telecoms industry for 25 years.
Prior to his new position at Geonovo, Mason established a telecoms consultancy, Mason Communications, in 1992. He has since sold the business, which had fee revenues of around GB pound 21 million.
