Eneo introduces megapixel network dome for IP integration
The GXD-1510M/IR, which should work with existing IP surveillance solutions, is also able to exchange information with products from other manufacturers as it is compliant with the ONVIF standard.
The polycarbonate housing has been designed to be vandal-resistant with IP66 protection. It is geared towards outdoor use and in locations at risk from camera manipulation, destruction or other operational impairments, like in public transport systems, schools, prisons and retail outlets.
Light sensitivity
At a resolution of 1280×960 pixels, it should deliver an image transmission rate of 25 fps. The light sensitivity at 50% video signal is 0.5 Lux colour, the integral varifocal lens features a focusing range of 3.3-12mm.
A spokesman for the company said: “High-contrast pictures even in difficult light conditions, such as in entrance areas with backlight, are generated by the Wide Dynamic Range function that automatically selects optically illuminated image sections from different exposure phases and then combines them into an overall picture.
“The integrated switchable IR cut filter also ensures night-time video imagery is clear. There is no need for additional illumination as the dome comes with 18 integrated 850nm LEDs giving an illumination range of approximately 20 metres.”
Privacy zones and digital zoom
Additional functions include privacy zones, 2x to 10x digital zoom, integrated motion detector and PoE. There is also a recording option on SD card, where video imagery should automatically be stored on the card when an alarm is triggered.
The shipping package includes GL Manager, a software solution for management, playback and recording of video resouces.
