Mats Johansson has been appointed the senior vice-president responsible for operations, taking care of Gunnebo’s global industrial platform and which overall responsibility for production, logistics, purchasing, research and development and environmental/quality work across the organisation.
Johansson is currently country manager for Gunnebo in China, and based in Shanghai. He’ll maintain this role in tandem with his new responsibilities.
Johansson boasts “years of experience” in production as well as within research and development thanks to previous roles at companies including Fagerhult, IMI Plc and Uponor.
In addition, Tomas Wangberg is the new senior vice-president in charge of business development.
Wangberg has been a member of the group executive team since 2009 in his roles as senior vice-president for business area secure storage and operations.
As of yesterday, Wangberg now holds the senior vice-president roles for business area secure storage and business development, the latter including overall responsibility for the three units comprising developing businesses: gateway, perimeter protection and SafePay.
