State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

Senstar Corporation named Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan

“We chose Senstar based on the company’s demonstrated Best Practices in the intrusion detection market,” said Ankur Jajoo, research analyst for Frost & Sullivan.

“Senstar outscored competing companies in all areas including excelling in its growth strategy, its high degree of innovation with products and technology, industry leadership in customer value and demonstration of an expanding partnership network.”

With global intrusion detection markets being part of today’s challenging economic climate, end users are demanding new technologies with improved performance and products capable of providing complete solutions.

Ability to address developing market needs

The Frost & Sullivan Award demonstrates Senstar’s ability to address developing market needs by offering superior technology and products at competitive prices and expanding on its client partnerships.

“We are honoured to be recognised in our industry by Frost & Sullivan,” said Brian Rich, president of the Senstar Corporation. “We believe this award demonstrates Senstar’s success and lessons learned from 30 years of developing and deploying intrusion detection systems worldwide for every conceivable climatic condition.”

Rich noted that Senstar’s broad and extensive portfolio of products allows the company to offer perimeter intrusion detection solutions that meet any customer’s range of needs in an industry where one product rarely fits all applications.

“Our employees at the product development and manufacturing centre in Ottawa, Canada and our staff in Senstar’s offices worldwide are proud to supply the world with tried and true outdoor intrusion sensors, and to play their part in helping make our world more safe and secure,” added Rich.

2011: the 30th Anniversary

2011 will mark Senstar’s 30th Anniversary. For three decades, the company has provided leading-edge volumetric sensors based on radio frequency buried cable (Omnitrax), microwave and electrostatic field technologies, an array of fence-mounted acoustic and vibration sensors (Intelli-FLEX, FlexPS) and barrier sensors (including taut wire and decorative fence solutions) as well as security management systems.

Senstar’s products and solutions can be found around the world in airports, borders, ports, VIP residences, military and government sites, correctional facilities, industrial and commercial installations, major utilities and critical infrastructure sites.

Frost & Sullivan, meanwhile, is now in its 50th year as a global research organisation. The company currently employs 1,800 analysts and consultants worldwide who monitor more than 300 industries and 250,000 companies.

The company’s research philosophy originates with the CEO’s 360 Degree Perspective, which serves as the foundation of its TEAM Research methodology. This approach enables Frost & Sullivan to determine how Best-in-Class companies worldwide manage growth, innovation and leadership.
