Having worked closely with installers, held senior sales positions with Chubb, Secom and ADT, and coming now from Mitsubishi where he was technical account manager, Woodgate brings over 20 valuable years of hands-on experience in the security industry to his new role.
Commenting on the appointment, Greg Thornton (Texecom’s UK sales manager) said: “I’m thrilled that Andy’s joining our UK sales team, and think he will be adding a lot with his wealth of knowledge built up over such a long time in the industry.”
Thornton added: “Our latest developments will certainly keep Andy busy. He’ll be instrumental in showcasing Ricochet and other new products to installation companies throughout the South East region.”
Texecom, of course, is an award-winning manufacturer of intruder alarm products, motion detectors, control panels, perimeter protection devices, heat and smoke detectors, external sounders and power supplies.
The company recently introduced the aforementioned Ricochet wireless mesh network technology platform for safe, reliable wireless security.
The entire product range is ‘designed to perform’, offering “excellent functionality with a unique style”.
