Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust & Barnsley Facilities Services have joined the International Foundation of Protection Officers UK & I (IFPO UK) as Corporate Members.
The Barnsley Hospital security team, led by Mike Lees CSyP and Lisa Corbridge MSyI, have won numerous awards in recent years for their innovative security programmes and are currently very much on the frontline in the fight against Covid-19.
IFPO UK Director, Mike Hurst CPP said: “We are honoured to have Mike, Lisa and the award-winning Barnsley team as members of IFPO. Individual security practitioners, security companies and end-users, can all benefit from our range of member benefits and security education programs. Indeed, currently we are developing some new programmes to support frontline officers, supervisors and managers.”
