ATEC Security, Securitas and Digital Barriers Triumph at Security Excellence Awards 2014

Fire and security awardsSafeZone-edge by Digital Barriers, Mercedes-Benz UK by Securitas and ATEC Security were among the winners at last night’s Security & Fire Excellence Awards.

Comedian and impressionist Alistair McGowan presented the awards, which were judged by a panel of industry luminaries including: Emma Shaw (Chairman, Security Institute), Don Randall MBE (Chief Information Security Officer, Bank of England), Geoff Tate (Chief Executive, SSAIB), Richard Jenkins (CEO, National Security Inspectorate).

Hosted by UBM Live the awards took place during a black tie gala ceremony at London’s prestigious Hilton Hotel, Park Lane. The Ghana Education Project and The Children’s Burns Trust were charity partners for the event.

“This has been an outstanding year for innovation and the standard of entries has been higher than ever before,” Gerry Dunphy, event director for IFSEC & FIREX International, UBM Live. “The Security Excellence Awards is a time for everyone in the security and fire industry to come together and celebrate their achievements.  I’m delighted to be part of these accolades and congratulate all the winners.”
