RISCO to use CSL’s alarm signalling tool, DigiAir Connected

Connectivity technology provider CSL has announced RISCO as the latest company to use its alarm signalling tool DigiAir Connected.

Following on from the launch of DigiAir Connected, with Pyronix, now RISCO has signed up as the latest company to use the technology.

CSL’s sales director, Rob Evans, says: “Installers already have access to signalling products that provide end-user apps. DigiAir Connected is the only product to offer smartphone apps with reliable ARC Connectivity.”

DigiAir Connected also discourages self-monitored systems that bypass ARCs.

“We are delighted to welcome RISCO onboard as a CSL Connected Partner — with more manufacturers to follow soon,” he adds.

CSL is working with security panel manufacturers to produce panel-specific signalling for installers, which is designed to incorporate the features of the DigiAir communications path with those of a chosen alarm panel. There is also the option of an end-user app.

There is increasing demand for smart alarm systems as more end-users opt for smart phone apps to control smart devices remotely. Until now apps have only been available with self-monitored systems. However, more end-users are demanding smart phone apps with reliable ARC Connectivity.

RISCO Group supplies security products for various types of security installations, including intrusion alarm systems and accessories for residential and commercial installations. The company recently launched a smart home product.
