The show also provides a platform for maintaining and developing relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.

The event is hosting a wide variety of free-to-attend seminar programmes. The seminar session presented by Frost & Sullivan takes place tomorrow (1 September) at 16:30 and will allow visitors to:

  • analyse the South African CCTV market and identify industry challenges as well as market drivers and restraints

  • analyse the current competitive market structure as well as key participants and organisations active in each of the sectors
  • identify, analyse and discuss the key market growth opportunities

Benefit from the research results

Grant Mills, the managing director of UBM Montgomery, said: “IFSEC aims to be at the forefront of the international security industry. With the help of Frost & Sullivan, who are well known throughout the world as providers of comprehensive business research, we’re delighted that our visitors and exhibitors will have the chance to benefit from hearing the results of their extensive research conducted into the South African CCTV market.”

The inaugural IFSEC South Africa Securex 2009 proved to be a huge success. The event enticed more than 200 companies and in excess of 5,500 security professionals from 48 countries.

Those statistics have helped the event cement its place as the definitive security, safety, fire protection and Health & Safety event for the African market.
