British manufacturer AMG-Panogenics has entered partnership agreements with Tecton Limited and Cathexis.
AMG, which makes 5 Megapixel cameras, has entered an OEM partnership agreement with UK designer Tecton. Elsewhere, it will be working with South African based Cathexis, which specialises in digital surveillance and video management systems.
Tecton designs, develops and manufacturers closed circuit video equipment (CCTV) for commercial, security, government and broadcast applications. Under the agreement, Tecton will integrate PanoCam360 into all their video management systems complementing its range of products.
Chris Hall, Tecton founder and md said: “Our customers expect Tecton to deliver superior quality video and we were happy to be able to do this with the AMG-Panogenics camera.”
David Myers, AMG-Panogenics, chief technology officer said: “I have no doubt that Tecton will find a number of interesting projects where PanoCam360 will add value and save costs, and we’re looking forward to a fruitful relationship over the coming years.”
The Cathexis deal means there will be complete integration of the CatVision IP Surveillance Software Suite with the 5 Megapixel PanoCam360. Mark Ross, director of Cathexis’ European subsidiary said: “Our market covers anything from single sites to major retail chains, complex organisations with outlets across borders and continents, and some of the world’s largest mining organisations with very specific requirements, often with thousands of cameras.
“We can already see a number of projects where PanoCam360 will be appropriate and the flexibility provided by the 360 degrees functionality makes this AMG-Panogenics camera an excellent choice for a wide range of applications.”
