40 firefighters battle massive chemical warehouse fire
Around forty firefighters battled a massive blaze at a chemical warehouse in Enfield, London, last week.
The surrounding industrial estate, on Jeffreys Road, was evacuated of 120 people.
The blaze, at a single-storey building used as a workshop and chemical store, started at 07.37 am. It was under control by 10.16 the same morning (7 April), but crews remained on the scene for around 24 hours.
The building, measuring 100 by 80 metres, was badly damaged. An investigation is ongoing.
