Whitepaper: Enhancing security, resilience and efficiency across a range of industries

BT RedCARE at the very foundations of security

General manager Simon Scott explained: “Retrofit security measures lack the efficiency and aesthetic appeal of wholly integrated and remotely monitored systems. Intelligent signalling is secure and sophisticated, which extends the lifecycle value of a building. Previously, too much security has been bolted on, visible and intimidating.”
Functions such as access control, climate control, heating and lighting, power sourcing and business services can be integrated in one complete management and security solution.
And they can be incorporated into the framework back at the design stage, BT RedCARE says in the guide, Secure Intelligent Buildings, which is targeted at architects and specifiers.
It explains the process of assessing what security measures may be required at a particular site and sets out the implications of the new ACPO Policy.

  • And BT RedCARE has made two senior appointments to its security and fire sector sales teams. Andy Tuck, previously with IntelliSense, has joined as National Corporate Accounts Manager, Security (North). Jenny Cross has become National Fire Sector Sales Manager. She joins from Chubb Fire Alarms, where she worked with independent installers.
