Call point technology manufacturer KAC has introduced an IP67 sealed WCP outdoor call point range, designed for use outdoors or in harsh environments with large amounts of dust, dirt or moisture.
The fascia is a simple, snap-on fixtureless press fit to the back box, reducing installation time. Three standard 20mm cable entries are fitted, two in the top and one in the bottom of the back box, allowing in-out or pass-through wiring to be easily installed.
The WCP range has the same special terminal block as the MCP indoor call point range to speed installation.
The operation of the WCP is readily interchanged between a break glass and a resettable element, without any additional components being needed. A single tool, identical to that used for all KAC call points, is used for test, reset and lid release. The WCP range is approved by LPCB to EN54 part 11, with both VdS and BOSEC approvals pending.
