CCTV on the surgery ward
Earlier this year, Westcountry organised a raffle in conjunction with a local pub, the Dolphin, and traders from the Barbican area of Plymouth to raise money for the Ward. Prizes for the raffle, co-ordinated by Westcountry’s MD, Frank Bostick, were donated by Barbican traders and included a wide screen television. The raffle raised GB pound 4,670 for the Ward. Staff at the Primrose Ward decided to use some of the donated money to buy a security camera and monitor, but Westcountry decided to donate these as well. The company has installed monitoring systems in a number of wards.
