The Convexs series features two slim-line readers, each with different reading options. The top of the range MN80 is equipped with a dual reading technology print, suitable for both Mifare and Nedap XS card technologies, while the M80 version deals only with Mifare.
However, both readers can handle Mifare CSN and sector data systems.
Nedap said design was the prime driver in the development of the series and the name Convexs, which stems from the Latin word convexus, refers to the arched shape of the readers.
Both models are available as surface and flush mounts, with the latter designed especially for use in junction boxes. Each features Wiegand, RS485 and RF configurable interfaces.
