Aico reports that its Ei160 series range of mains powered alarms now comes with an improved Easi-fit base, which features an additional rim for a more streamlined look when viewed from the side and below.
In addition, a removable ‘door’ has been incorporated which permits trunking to be neatly inserted into the alarm base, eliminating the time consuming and messy job of cutting a trunking ‘knock out’.
The optical alarm in the Ei160 Series has a finer insect screen to eliminate the possibility of false alarms caused by foreign bodies entering the alarm’s optical chamber.
As before, the range has an ‘Easi-fit’ design and 10 year + rechargeable Lithium cells to provide over six month’s back-up in the event of a mains failure. It includes ionisation, optical and heat alarm models, all of which are fully interconnectable to provide a custom-designed system. They can also be interconnected with other Ei Professional alarms and are compatible with the Ei168 RadioLINK base.
