EverFocus UK partners with Rocate in building sales channel for HD CCTV growth

This morning, EverFocus has unveiled details of a major distribution partnership with Rocate Security Distribution, which currently sells to over 1,000 specialist security integrators and installers across the UK.

Rocate’s head office and logistics base is located in Harlow, Essex, the company also boasting a sales team based in Hull.

Over time, the organisation has built an enviable reputation for excellent product knowledge, technical ability and delivering high levels of service and support to its myriad customers.

Working together in partnership with its preferred integrators and installers, Rocate has helped to introduce new security products to market, including servers specially configured for video surveillance storage.

The company is also blessed with excellent warehouse and logistics systems which enable its customers to benefit from accurate, on-time deliveries.

Joining the EverFocus UK Partner Programme

As of today, Rocate will join the recently-launched EverFocus UK Partner Programme to help it capitalise on the sales opportunities presented by EverFocus’ entry into the emerging HD CCTV market.

According to the HDcctv Alliance (a global security industry consortium established to manage and promote technical standards for HD CCTV equipment), the global market for HDcctv cameras will reach 15 million units by 2015.

For its part, EverFocus provides partner organisations with a range of benefits (including a dedicated UK-based account manager, technical support team, sales leads distribution system, preferential arrangements and assistance with systems design).

As regular readers of I4S will know, EverFocus recently launched a full-HD (1080i) camera and DVR which offers customers all the benefits of improved image quality captured by HD without the heavy capital expenditure incurred by having to replace existing analogue cabling infrastructure.

In addition to HDcctv products, Rocate will also be distributing other analogue and IP cameras, DVRs, monitors and access control products produced across the EverFocus range.

Forefront of HD CCTV distribution

Speaking about this latest development, John Boorman (managing director at Rocate Security Distribution) told info4security: “It gives us immense pleasure that EverFocus UK has chosen Rocate to distribute its products. Both parties believe that this partnership will ensure we’re at the forefront of HD CCTV distribution.”

Boorman continued: “Our technical expertise and product knowledge in IP and analogue CCTV, combined with our vision of customer service and channel support, will truly benefit all our customers.”
