Fire alarm manufacturer launches new website for specifiers
Aico has launched a new website aimed at helping its customers produce a domestic fire alarm specification.
The Specification Selector follows a five step process and has been designed to guide the user through alarm grades and categories, choice of back-up supply, alarm sensor types, alarm quality and installation methods.
At the end of the process, a pre-written specification can be downloaded.
The site, www.aico.co.uk holds a catalogue of Aico’s fire detection products, including its Ei Professional range of mains powered fire alarms.
Aico said: "For specifiers looking to find a specific product, there is a dynamic product search tool which allows the user to search by product code or drill down by product attribute – for example, all mains powered alarms, or alarms of a certain sensor type.
"For specifiers looking for suitably qualified installers, the new website lists all installation companies who have been accredited with the Aico Fire Products Trained Installer Scheme, which can be searched on a county basis."
