G4S wins nationwide contract for CASH360 solution at Center Parcs
The contract will see Center Parcs installing G4S’ new and innovative in-store cash management solution – known as CASH360 – in all four of its holiday villages.
The move is part of a wider, forward-thinking initiative by Center Parcs to drive efficiencies in its cash management operations. CASH360 was selected following a trial of potential solutions at Center Parcs’ Sherwood Forest site.
Around 90 cash tills at each Center Parcs village will be processed through the CASH360 system, in turn allowing for automation of till deposit, till dispense and change functions across a variety of retail outlets (and giving the company visibility of cash held at each of their sites through the CASH360 customer portal).
The CASH360 solution will also be integrated with Center Parcs’ existing financial reporting systems to provide an end-to-end retail reporting package.
End-to-end cash management for retailers
CASH360 is described as “the first and only true end-to-end cash management system for retailers”. It consists of in-store technology which automates cash processes, and is fully integrated with G4S’ own software.
In turn, this can be linked with a retailer’s in-store devices to deliver real-time insight into cash positions and to provide analysis of the cash inventory at every level.
CASH360 is remotely monitored so that any issues can be resolved quickly and enable remote software updates. This is all backed up by an experienced team of CASH360 field engineers across the UK.

Shingler believes the G4S solution will provide Center Parcs with far greater visibility of its cash flow across the whole estate, enabling the end user to control cash efficiently and effectively within its business.

G4S has harnessed its global expertise in cash management to develop this fully automated cash management solution which “significantly increases the efficiency of cash management” in retail stores.
G4S is currently engaged with a number of leading retailers around the world to identify the benefits that CASH360 can bring to their businesses.
A subsidiary of G4S plc, G4S Cash Solutions provides cash solutions including secure cash transportation, ATM outsourcing and outsourced till management.
In the UK, the company deploys more than 7,000 employees and uses a fleet of around 2,000 vehicles throughout a network of 44 cash transportation branches and ten dedicated cash and coin centres.

CASH360C is a cash office-based solution which automates the management of tills by counting and recycling coins and notes. Tills are counted (counterfeit cash removed) and securely re-floated which produces an automated bank deposit for G4S to collect.
Cash management data may be transmitted to the retailer’s central accounting centre to provide greater visibility for head office as well as the individual outlet.
CASH360T is a till-based cash security solution ideally suited to high risk outlets in remote locations such as petrol stations. This system automates the deposit and dispensing of notes and coins and increases security at the point of sale, which in turn reduces the risk of robberies by eliminating opportunities for theft (as well as freeing up staff to add value to the business elsewhere).
