The Home Manager uses internet technology to provide customers with a package of benefits that extends beyond the traditional alarm monitoring services.
The Home Manager is designed to work with products such as the Scantronic 9750 and Visonic’s Power-Max. Customers do not need to use the internet to have the service and the pricing structure is expected to make it attractive to the domestic market.
The Home Manager links to the alarm panel through the telephone line, but the system places all information on web servers. The Home Manager can instantly relay messages to the property owner, giving full details of events over the phone, by text message or email.
Gardiner Security marketing director James Somerville Smith commented: "It allows us to provide installers with the complete package, including product, service and support, across the counter in our outlets."
