IFSEC 2011: Rhino Technology launches tracker system alongside CCTV equipment
Rhino Technology says: “The size of a match box, Rhino Trackit247 is the first system ready to track straight from the box – setting up is simply from a website, there is no contract and no monthly fees or subscription.”
Rhino Trackit247 is designed for tracking high value items such as cars, caravans, boats, sports equipment and luggage, and the company says it “is invaluable for personal security, for instance alerting when children have safely arrived at school or monitoring movements of lone workers and vulnerable”.
The unit also incorporates a panic alarm providing an SMS of whereabouts to designated mobiles.
This new tracking device has a web enabled control panel for live tracking on Google Earth as well as Street View.
Users can also call the Rhino Trackit247 and it will return an instant SMS with details of its last recorded post code and iPhone users can then track live.
Taking the mystique away from CCTV installs
Rhino Technology’s wide array of CCTV systems and equipment will also be on display on its stand.
The company says: “As always, Rhino is at IFSEC to take the mystique away from CCTV installations and demonstrate how easy it is to create a bespoke package for any application.”
It adopts a simple 3-step system: choose one of three digital video recorders; choose one of six cameras; and finally choose one of three monitors.
“Selecting any combination arrives at a very affordable system with high specification features as standard including real time live display, DVD resolution high quality recording, internal storage hard drive and infrared remote control,” according to Rhino.
Built with easy installation in mind, the CCTV systems are all 12v pre-wired and pre-terminated meaning there is no need for compliance with Part P of Building Regulations.
Indeed, the systems are ideal for locksmiths and electricians looking to increase their profits through simple and fast CCTV installations, Rhino says.
All CCTV equipment is guaranteed for four years, can be networked on PCs and a free downloadable app enables users to keep watch via their i-phones and smartphones.
And to back all of this up, Rhino Technology provides a helpline and technical assistance, as well as a full range of catalogues and point-of-sale for showrooms.
