Ingersoll Rand installs lobby doors for Ibis hotel
Door-O-Matic doors were fitted at the entrance and inner lobby, where previously space had been an issue.
A spokesman said: “Due to the central city location and restricted access resulting from the angle of the entrance, traditional automatic doors would have been too large and would have caused an obstruction.”
The doors are designed specifically to create unobstructed opening and ease bi-directional traffic flow. Safety features include motion detectors, threshold safety beams and sensors, electric locking, panic breakout, monitored battery pack and manual operation functions. Other features include adjustable opening / closing speeds, adjustable time delay and reduced opening settings.
