Installers offered new ‘sales tool’

VRS, the leasing division of VCL, says inspectorate approved installers can offer householders personal loans to cover any security installation, even "buy now, pay later" with the new package … part of VCL’s "look no further" policy as a single-source provider.
Said Nigel Garner, VRS Sales Director: "We believe this is the first time any major national provider has offered such a service. Previously householders wanting finance on an installation would have had to approach a lender directly. "We are putting this powerful sales tool straight into the hands of the installer." Interest bearing loans or deferred payment options can be offered.
This overcomes sales resistance to the outright price and could lead to higher value installations and upgrades, said Garner.
