Lump of concrete hits flytippers

Maxsys Electronics Ltd has launched The Rock – rapid deployment covert CCTV disguised as a discarded piece of concrete.

Self contained and quickly deployed, it captures evidential quality images that can be used by local authorities to secure convictions for flytipping and anti-social behaviour.

Inside the weather resistant moulded housing is a camera with a PIR with a range of up to five metres and a video transmitter.

It has a self powered operational life of up to 200 hours in hibernation mode before requiring a battery change.

A secondary video receiver and DVR with SD card can be deployed up to 500 meters from The Rock. Up to 32 hours of images at resolutions of up to 704×240 on a 4GB card can be stored.
