Mango DSP and Steelbox strike integration deal
Mango DSP, which provides servers for use in the video surveillance and homeland security markets, and Steelbox, which claims to have developed the world’s fastest media appliance, announced the partnership last week.
Working together, the companies claim they will be able to offer the industry a comprehensive solution that looks after the processing, distribution, storage and management of video data.
Integration
Current and future users of Steelbox’s video surveillance network solutions will have the option to integrate with Mango DSP’s Raven-X2 and Raven-M video servers – the only multi-algorithm video servers developed especially for the homeland security and defence markets.
“We are pleased to partner with Mango DSP,” said Steelbox president and CEO Brian Cohen. “Both Steelbox and Mango systems are optimised for large scale implementations, which is particularly important in homeland security, defence, and public safety.”
Baruch Peled, Mango DSP’s CEO, said, “We recognise that an effective video network is a vital infrastructure for truly intelligent video surveillance. Mango DSP is proud to integrate its rugged multi-analytics servers in Steelbox’s high-performance networks to provide a comprehensive, state-of-the-art, intelligent video solution”.
