Simmons joins Mayflex from Redstone, previously Comunica, where he most recently held the position of associate sales director for the Converged Solutions business.
Simmons was instrumental in taking the company from their cabling routes to offer an extensive portfolio of products and services including wired and wireless Ethernet, managed services, voice and physical security.

Simmons began his career working for BT before joining Cableship some 20 years ago. He spent 2 years as the Sales Director for ISG Webb before re-joining what was then Comunica, laterly acquired by the Redstone PLC.
