Norbain SD’s managing director Barry Shakespeare and two other directors have left the company that was acquired by Newbury Investments (UK) Ltd earlier this year.
Shakespeare departs the Winnersh Triangle-based Norbain after two years in the managing director’s chair as part of a restructure of senior management roles at the CCTV and electronic security systems distributor.
Norbain Group was broken up earlier this year following a brief period in prepack administration when Norbain SD was acquired by Newbury Investments.
Marketing communications director Huw Edwards and Human Resources director Victoria Bori have also left the company.
Nigel Palmer, chief executive of Newbury Investments (UK) Limited, said: “For sound commercial reasons, it has been necessary to restructure some of the functions or roles currently carried out centrally at Winnersh [the company’s headquarters in Berkshire]. Barry Shakespeare, Victoria Bori and Huw Edwards left Norbain on 14 September 2012.”
