Norbain offers Redvision IR domes deal to installers
To ensure that end users don’t have to compromise on the quality of night-time images by installing standard speed domes, Redvision has announced that it has reduced the price of all cameras in the popular RV range.
Norbain can further enhance this offering by offering its customers an exclusive pricing arrangement, in turn providing a great deal for installers and end users alike.
The RV dome range combines the latest technology IR illumination for night-time monitoring with “uncompromised” colour daytime video. Redvision’s “super smooth” drive ensures that the controllability competes with the very best in the industry.
Flying the flag for the range are the RV18-830 dome single and dual camera domes, offering true day/night operation and 530TVL resolution. Both feature a 1/4-inch CCD sensor.
Simultaneous video streaming
The dual camera versions are capable of supplying simultaneous video streaming of both zoom (for close observation) and wide angle (for contextual views). If connected to a DVR, both camera views can be recorded at the same time.
High build quality is assured across the entire range with the use of Sony camera modules, a polycarbonate hemisphere and die-cast aluminium enclosures. This provides users with a rugged, reliable IR speed dome designed, manufactured and supported in the UK.
In addition to providing consistent and reliable illumination through 360 degrees , IR cameras reduce energy consumption and running costs when compared to traditional halogen lighting. Also, because of the long life of the bulbs (rated at 50,000 hours compared to a typical 2,000 hours for halogen bulbs), costs can be saved on lamp replacements and engineer service calls.
Buzz Coates, CCTV product manager for Norbain, commented: “The special pricing available through Norbain allows these high-quality cameras to be specified for a greater range of applications than previously possible, thereby providing real benefits to installers and end users alike.”
