Pecan says its new micro dome “utilises the latest advanced technology to deliver the functionality and performance you would expect from a standard larger dome”.
The D053C provides high resolution 520 TVL high sensitivity colour images for discreet external as well as internal surveillance.
The housings, which are available in back or silver finish, have been specially designed in a new glass reinforced polycarbornate to be both lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
The D053C’s key feature is its OSD capability, developed to allow installers to set up and configure each camera individually and optimise the picture image specification to meet specific viewing requirements per location.
Other features include 90 mA low power consumption plus the versatility of an optional angled surface mount and second video output for testing purposes.
Variety of surveillance options

“Typically a multi-camera system may comprise several domes – each with a different viewing application.
“The settings for the internal cameras will vary from those required for external use which have to be able to combat the effects of a wide variety of difficult viewing conditions – such as the glare from brilliant sunlight.
