Based in Yorkshire, the team won the Conference Grand Final last season, and have so far won all their matches in the Women’s Central division this year. As part of the sponsorship package with Keighley Cats, the team have been given jackets emblazoned with Select’s logo.
Select Group sponsors a number of sports clubs across the region, both at senior and junior level. The company is a major backer of Keighley Cougars RLFC, sponsoring both the first team and the club’s cheerleaders and a dance academy.
Select also sponsors Keighley Town Amateur Rugby League Club, Keighley Albion Football Club and Silsden AFC’s Under-15’s ‘A’ team.
Marketing manager Sarah Waddington said: “Our continuing support of both sporting and community-based projects, particularly those involving children and young people, allows us to share our success and put something back into our own communities. It gives us a sense of purpose.”
