Social club in North Wales destroyed by fire
A blaze at a social club in North Wales led to surrounding homes being evacuated in the early hours of 4 February.
A police and fire inquiry is underway to determine the cause of fire, which has destroyed Shotton Lane, Social Club, in Shotton.
This morning, a spokesman for the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the building had "not been safe to go back in" in the days following the fire.
Around 35 firefighters tackled the blaze, which burned through the night until 10 am, with crews still dampening down throughout the day.
Residents of nearby houses were woken in the early house to be moved to safety as the building burned. A number of them were relocated to Deeside Leisure Centre.
There have been no reports of injuries.
