State of Physical Access Trend Report 2024

Sutherland re-elected chairman of the ASC

Sutherland’s re-election was ratified at the ASC’s recent Board meeting and AGM held at Bury House, St James’s in central London.

At the same meeting, it was determined that Laws will remain as vice-chairman while Chris Roberts – Roy Sutherland’s business partner – was re-elected as treasurer.

The meeting also approved the re-election of Stewart Brown and Simon Lambert to the Board, together with the appointment of Tavcom Training’s Mike Tennent.

Founding ASC members John Benton, Mike Cahalane and Nigel Flower continue to actively and positively support the Association as directors.

Other Board members include Nick Johnson, Gordon Herrald, Allan Hildage and Graeme Dow.

Reports at the 2010 AGM

Laurie Doust continues his fantastic support as secretary of the Association. At the AGM, Doust reported on the success of the ASC’s 16th international showcase conference and exhibition – Consec – which was held on 4 November at the Royal Air Force Museum, Hendon and attended by Security Management Today Online.

Roy Sutherland presented his report, and thanked all those individuals and groups who’ve supported the ASC throughout 2010.

Sutherland is now “looking forward to another eventful term” as chairman and witnessing the ASC “going from strength to strength” in the year ahead.

Following the AGM, ASC member Graham Seaby gave an excellent presentation to the invited guests.
