Tyco Security Products engages Norbain for Horizons project

The ‘Horizons’ programme offers consultants, specifiers and installers the opportunity to earn points for learning, purchasing and engaging with Tyco Security Products.

The opportunities to redeem these points are “like no other on the market”. The points can be also be used on a pre-paid Visa card, or invested back into the business with a host of marketing, training and equipment purchase options.

According to an official press statement from Norbain: “This level of flexibility is unique, providing customers with a rewards programme that works exactly to their requirements.”

Tyco Security Products and Norbain place great emphasis on ensuring their customers have the knowledge they need to make the most of market opportunities. As a result, the Horizons programme rewards customers for increasing their product and industry knowledge by engaging in on and off-line courses as well as attending events.

Promotional days for customers

“There are a huge range of opportunities to earn points for the programme,” explained Anna Dewhurst, Norbain’s Tyco-focused business development manager.

“There’s no limit to the number you can earn and multiple offers can be used in conjunction with one another to further increase your points.”

“There’s no other reward programme like this on the market,” suggested Martin McGrath of Tyco Security Products. “The points can be redeemed in the form of service stock, special promotional days for customers and client-specific events, as well as for an exciting range of rewards from our extensive partner portfolio which includes Chelsea Football Club, Wentworth Golf Club and our own Tyco Suzuki Racing team.”

McGrath added: “Our aim with the programme is to connect with our customers and reward them for their engagement and loyalty.”

Norbain and Vivotek join forces to meet customer demand for IP solutions

Norbain and Vivotek have joined forces to offer customers five-megaxpixel IP surveillance solutions.

The strategic partnership will extend the reach of Vivotek’s wide range of products to the European market. The comprehensive product line includes network cameras, video servers, video receivers and central management systems.

According to Sharon Lee, sales director of brand business at Vivotek, the company has had a long-standing relationship with Norbain, with the latter playing a vital role in strengthening market coverage of the brand in Europe.

“Our European expansion is in direct response to the increasing demand for IP-based surveillance products and solutions around the globe,” said Lee. “The security industry is highly competitive and growing rapidly. Users are constantly seeking versatile, easy-to-use and reliable solutions. Although there are many choices on the market for network cameras, we believe none of them comes close to the usability, affordability and reliability of Vivotek.”

Designed by Vivotek’s innovative Research & Development teams adopting ground-breaking codec technologies, the five-megaxpixel solutions are ideal for professional applications.

In addition to Vivotek’s FD8372 solution, which has been in mass production since May this year, FE8172V, IP8172 and IP8372 are some of the other five-megapixel models scheduled to be released before 2012 is out.

“Vivotek has again listened to what the market requires and delivered more products that enhance its current range of IP-based surveillance cameras,” commented Buzz Coates, Norbain’s CCTV manager.

“Working in conjunction with Vivotek extends our customers’ confidence in Norbain’s ability to supply affordable and reliable products/solutions in the IP-based video surveillance industry.”
