Visimetrics system pinpoints point of sale

Called PoSDVR, the recorder is based on Epson’s IR700 touch screen EPOS unit running NPoS software from NISYST. It can record from up to eight standard CCTV cameras, and users are able to quickly pinpoint recordings relating to individual transactions.

Visimetrics says the combined unit does away with complex wiring and simplifies installation and operation. PoSDVR is scaleable on networks, so live and recorded video can be reviewed locally, at other points in a given store, or from other locations.
