Leon Zacharow – head of security and health and safety for MWB – recognised the need for a more sophisticated visitor management system, opting to specify Kalamazoo’s Sentinel manual ‘one-write’ system.
The flexibility of expanding and contracting office space to meet client needs means that contractors are regularly on site at MWB buildings. With this in mind, Kalamazoo’s Authorised Contractor System has been installed, incorporating a manual register and ‘permit to work’ passes.
They are designed to ensure that proper consideration and authorisation is given to any hazardous work, and that the individuals concerned are trained to take the necessary health and safety precautions while undertaking their work.
