Vista launches VBC600 day/night long-range bullet camera
Described as a true day/night camera, the product features a 1/3″ Sony Super-HAD CCD imaging sensor, a resolution of 600TVL, and 0.1Lux colour / 0Lux with IR on, low light operation.
The camera’s 9-22mm varifocal lens has been designed so that it can be used to provide a precise scene of view, while lens adjustments can be made via the use of adjustable external rings.
For use in a low-light surveillance situation, integrated 850nM IR LED’s should allow for covert operation, Vista said. Image quality is “further enhanced” with a split-glass solution, which has been made to prevent any internal reflection from the IR illumination.
Set up of the camera’s advanced functionality, such as 3DNR, Dynamic Range Control and Sense-Up, is done with the aid of a supplied remote set-up tool with integral joystick.
Mark Pritchard, Vista’s divisional director, said: “The VBC600 features Smart LED technology, which automatically reduces the intensity of IR illumination, eliminating ‘whiteing out’ of objects passing close to the camera.
“Allied to its long range capability providing covert illumination up to 40 metres, the new bullet camera is ideal for a wide range of external applications.”
