Benchmark Magazine reveals finalists for Innovation Awards 2019
Benchmark Magazine has announced the finalists for its Innovation Awards for 2019.
The publication rigorously tests hardware and software under a range of conditions to see how it compares to the manufacturer’s marketing claims and whether it meets the increasingly sophisticated needs of today’s security personnel.
We’ve listed below the brands are in contention across nine categories – spanning video surveillance, access control, site protection, business intelligence and infrastructure. You can read about each product on the Benchmark Magazine website.
The publication, which performs as a kind of Which Magazine for the physical security sector, writes that: “We passionately believe that the future of the electronic security sector lies in the creation of innovative and smart solutions. In order to allow installers and integrators to create such solutions, it is vital that manufacturers deliver innovation that both enhances the technological capabilities of their products, and allows those developments to be implemented in a realistic fashion. In order to highlight such advances, Benchmark runs its Innovation Awards scheme, which recognises and rewards innovative thinking.”
Nearly half of all finalists– 22 out of 45 – will be showcasing the innovation in contention and their other products at IFSEC International 2019, Europe’s largest annual integrated security event. The exhibitors in question are in bold below and listed at the bottom of this article.
