IFSEC Southeast Asia 2015 was the biggest and – if the feedback from both visitors and exhibitors is anything to go on – best edition yet.
Now its third year Southeast Asia’s largest Security, fire and safety exhibition featured 350 security companies from more than 42 countries. The show, which was co-located with Rail Business Asia 2015 and Safe Cities in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia, showcasing the latest innovations in video surveillance, access control, guarding and a range of other security technologies.
Launching the event, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Khalid Bin Abu Bakar Inspector General Police Royal Malaysia Police, said: “Technology helps administrators to efficiently manage and deploy resources, monitor crime with greater precision, and target intervention with greater effectiveness.
“This plays an increasingly crucial role in the daily work of front-line officers. IFSEC Southeast Asia is an important security event in the region, and serves as a platform for the local, regional and international policy makers, technology and service providers, and law enforcement officials to interact and develop solutions.”
Putting technology at the heart of the event IFSEC featured the IFSEC Global Security Technology Showcase, where the most cutting edge security tech was demonstrated to packed audiences throughout the three day event.
