"first refusal"

Pointer Ltd becomes first UK Panasonic integrator with premium partner status

Panasonic has elevated Pointer Ltd to ‘premium partner’ status – the first UK integrator to do so under Panasonic’s recently revamped partner programme.

Video surveillance installers and integrators were invited to participate in the programme, relaunched earlier in the year, with their partner status determined by product training, sales volume and customer feedback.

As a premium partner Pointer Ltd, which designs, installs, services and maintains electronic security systems, gains access to extra support and access to pre-qualified sales leads via the partner portal.

Other perks include five-year warranties, advanced replacement, training and preferential placement within Panasonic’s ‘Where To Buy’ listings on its website.

“Pointer have proved an excellent partner for Panasonic,” said Gerard Figols, European category manager at Panasonic. “The company’s expertise in high end, mission critical installations suits our product portfolio.

“We receive a large number of end-user leads requesting solutions or products every day. Premium partner status means Pointer will get first refusal on these opportunities.”

Sandy Rowan, director at Pointer, said: “We are delighted to have achieved premier partner status for Panasonic, which indicates the dedication that our sales and engineering team has to training and improving their market knowledge.

“We think that our customers can benefit greatly from Pointer being a premium partner of Panasonic, not least with greater access to support and replacement technology than with any other manufacturer.”

Founded nearly 50 years ago Pointer Limited has offices around the UK and delivers large-scale projects for a number of blue-chip clients.
