Surveillance software supplier Pivot3 collects three awards

Video surveillance software provider Pivot3 has received a clutch of awards for is latest software version, vSTAC 7.6.

Pivot3 is said to incorporate extreme resiliency and high availability with leading performance, to boost system recovery and reduce the risk of data loss.

The product won the 2018 MVP award from Security Sales & Integration, a platinum-level 2018 government security award from Security Today, and a 2018 secure campus award from Campus Security and Life Safety.

The newest version of the Pivot3 software is optimised to increase ingest rates to support higher camera counts, higher video retention and to streamline scalability.

More than 500 cameras are supported per node and more than 10,000 cameras per rack. This performance increase delivers up to 66% improvement in video ingest rates, says the company, to lower costs in video surveillance infrastructures.

As video data demand and usage increases, ensuring video data is protected and secured is critical, says Pivot3. System failures and video degradation must be avoided to reduce the incidence of organisational risks, vulnerabilities and operational interruptions.

“Today’s security and video deployments generate massive amounts of sensitive data, and capturing, protecting and mobilising this data is paramount to mission-critical security applications,” said Brandon Reich, video surveillance practice leader for Pivot3.

“These industry honours showcase the resiliency, performance and cost efficiencies Pivot3 delivers to the market, and highlight the significant progression in Pivot3’s technologies and innovation over the past year.”

Pivot3 is exhibiting at IFSEC International, 19-21 June 2018, ExCeL London. You can find them on stand C340. Register now.
