VIVOTEK showcases new FE9391-EV fisheye camera with ImmerVision panomorph lens

Taiwanese surveillance brand VIVOTEK exhibited a wide range of cutting edge cameras at IFSEC 2017, including a new 12-megapixel fisheye camera.

The FE9391-EV features panomorph lens technology, able to deliver peripheral visibility for optimal 360° image quality.

The camera is equipped with smart IR II which can deliver surround view images at night. Built-in technology includes crowd-detection, loitering time analysis, and trigger alarms for overcrowding.

The camera also features advances in human detection to accurately detect humans and objects, continuously tracking the movements of any objects of interest.

During the show VIVOTEK introduced the MA8391-ETV, the newest 360° multiple sensors camera with four adjustable remote focus sensors. The camera can deliver high quality images day and night.

The company’s new three-megapixel 180°panoramic network camera, the CC8371-HV features IR illuminators that are effective up to 15 metres.

The latest four three-megapixel CMOS sensor vandal dome was also on display. The camera uses a video alignment feature that allows for the adjustment of the positioning and image quality of each sensor.

The multi-sensor camera can withstand rain and dust and is protected against vandalism or tampering with robust housing.

VIVOTEK also launched its Solution Integration Alliance (SIA) programme that builds alliances with global partners that offer expertise across various fields, include Genetec, SeeTec and Wavestore.

ImmerVision panomorph technology

ImmerVision, which also exhibited at IFSEC 2017, has patented its pioneering panomorph platform, which combines super wide-angle panomorph lenses and image processing algorithms to create immersive, seamless, panoramic imagery and 360° visualisation for a wide range of applications.

ImmerVision says 360° panomorph lens outperform traditional wide angle/fisheye lenses, offering:

  • More pixels
  • Distance objects more visible
  • Greater area coverage
  • No distortion
  • Dewarping functionality allows you to navigate within live or recorded 360° images
  • Pan, tilt and zoom into any specific area within any view settings
  • Live/playback
  • Multiple customisable views with a single camera

About ImmerVision

ImmerVision licenses its patented panomorph optical and software technology to global lens producers, product manufacturers and software developers. The Montreal-headquartered company says its lens are the only ones that can be adapted to any camera, sensor and consumer, commercial or government market.
