Wavestore is celebrating a twin triumph after winning both the Queen’s Award for International Trade and the Queen’s Award for Innovation.

The UK provider of open-platform video recording and management solutions is one of just two businesses to win two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise.

Conferred annually by the Queen on the Prime Minister’s advice of the prestigious accolades recognise organisations that perform outstandingly in international trade, innovation and sustainable development.

Wavestore triumphed in the Innovation category for its open platform VMS, which integrates audio, data and video from disparate third-party technologies, including images from the latest ultra-high definition and 360° fish eye cameras.

Mostly selling its software via licensing or directly to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) the West-London based company has dedicated agents and business partners in every major region of the world, including a permanent office in Florida that serves the USA, Canada and Mexico.

“We’re immensely proud to be recognised with two Queen’s Awards which reflect the hard work and ingenuity of all those who work at Wavestore,” says Stuart Caldecourt, Chairman & Managing Director of Wavestore.

“The Awards coincide with the launch of Version 6, the latest release of our Video Management Software (VMS), which is packed with real-life practical features to help users achieve maximum benefit from their investment in a security system.

“It reaffirms our commitment to continually innovate in response to changing market demands and our ability to consistently exceed users’ expectations.”
