IFSEC TV spoke to Gary Harmer, sales director for UK and Ireland at video surveillance giant Hikvision, during IFSEC International 2018.
In the video below Harmer reveals plans for a new R&D facility at its UK head office, near Heathrow, which will equip the world’s largest developer of video surveillance hardware to better respond to UK customer needs.
He also talks about latest innovations in AI – including AI-driven surveillance software called HikCentral – facial recognition and network cameras.
Hikvision’s product suite includes smart IP cameras, HD analogue cameras, speed domes, NVRs, DVRs, video management software, access control and alarm systems, encoders, decoders, and more besides. A diverse range of vertical markets are served, from retail and residential to finance, transportation and government.
