Said to be ideal for non-contact greetings, Paxton has added to its video entry product line by launching the Entry Standard monitor. It allows users to greet visitors via video, before granting or denying access, and forms part of the company’s wider door entry system, Entry.
Designed for a variety of uses, the monitor includes advanced audio quality, full-duplex voice communication and a clear user interface on a 4.3” capacitive touch screen. The interface with call and event log can be personalised with 14 different theme designs, while its new call snapshot feature enables users to see missed calls.
Steve Rowlands, Global Product Manager, said: “The second-generation Entry Standard monitor blends contemporary aesthetics with high quality materials and clean user interface. It has been designed to fit into any environment. The monitor features a glass covered capacitive touch screen and high-quality front facing speaker with a high contract screen ensuring the monitor is always easy to read”.
The whole Entry video system consists of three components that auto-detect on set up: external panel, interior monitor and door control unit. Other products in Paxton’s entry range include the Entry Premium Monitor, ideal for high-end sites and the recent Entry Audio Monitor, for sites where only audio verification is required.
Paxton’s door entry system is also fully compatible with its Net2 networked access control system, which has just received a future proof update, Net2.v6.03, as well as Paxton10 – the new unified access control and video management solution.
The UK security manufacturer is also running free webinars and online training to support installers and end users to maximise the potential functionality of Paxton products.
