Pivot3 wins ringing endorsement from Milestone Systems with mission-critical certification

Milestone Systems has certified Pivot3’s infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments when used in conjunction with the Milestone XProtect video management software (VMS).

Based on Milestone’s robust testing criteria, this certification assures organisations that Pivot3 promises high standards relating to areas – like performance, resilience and scalability – that are top priorities in high security environments like transport, utilities and banks.

Pivot3 streamlines video management and storage capabilities by hosting VMS, other security applications and IT workloads on a single, unified platform. This, says the Austin, Texas-based company, simplifies management and cuts hardware investments and datacentre footprint.

Pivot3, which says it provides extremely high levels of availability and comprehensive data protection, has fulfilled projects for Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Caesars Entertainment and the University of Central Florida, among others.

“Our cooperation with Pivot3 insulates organisations from the risk of downtime or data loss from major system failures.” Henrik Sydbo Hansen, Milestone Systems

“Our global market cooperation with Pivot3 equips organisations to capture and access critical video data and insulates them from the risk of downtime or data loss from major system failures,” said Henrik Sydbo Hansen, group manager, devices and integrations, Milestone Systems.

“Pivot3’s ability to deliver the performance and resilience required to meet the complex and evolving needs of today’s demanding enterprise-class IoT and security applications is a key factor in our ongoing collaboration.”

Said Brandon Reich, vice president, security and IoT, Pivot3: “Organisations are aggressively moving toward the idea of the consolidated, secure enterprise in an effort to better manage connected devices, reduce vulnerabilities and ensure safety, while integrating with IT best practices and bridging the gap that often exists between security and IT.

“Pivot3 certified on Milestone Systems VMS is designed to offer significant value to these entities, allowing them to manage their security and IT infrastructure requirements in an integrated fashion that’s easy to manage and is proven in hundreds of deployments to reduce costs.”

Pivot3 says its intelligent, hybrid cloud and IoT solutions deliver peerless performance at scale, eliminate unscheduled downtime and slash IT infrastructure costs by half or more.

The company has more than 2,600 customers in 63 countries, and more than 20,000 deployments in education, hospitality, transportation, government, healthcare, defence, gaming, financial services and retail.
