ASFP announces passive fire protection seminar line-up for FIREX 2022

The Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), the UK’s trade association for passive fire protection, will be showcasing its range of training courses, guidance documents and membership services on stand FI1224 at FIREX International between 17-19 May at London’s ExCeL.

Its experts will be on hand to answer all your passive fire protection queries, discuss the latest regulatory requirements and to explain how its training courses can help to demonstrate competency. The ASFP offers a range of courses, from classroom training to its e-learning platform, which enables learners to study towards the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates in PFP.

The ASFP Pavilion will also feature a learning zone with speakers every day. This is free to attend for anyone visiting the event and is CPD accredited. You can see all the speakers below.

Business Manager at the ASFP, Mike Ward, expressed his excitement for the return of FIREX: “It’s been three years since ASFP put up its big top at FIREX and invited members and stakeholders to engage in the disciplines of passive fire in construction.

“Looking forward to the three days in May at Excel, the ASFP pavilion will be surrounded by over 20 member companies, repeat the hugely successful learning zone theatre, have access to the new website and store, and feature details on the value of training and membership and include the ASFP team to answer your questions.

“The award-winning ASFPTV will have a corner of the pavilion set aside to talk to those having presented in the ASFP learning zone or other theatres, members and notable individuals of the regulatory, design/construction and facilities community.

“ASFP Officers and Managers will also be presenting on various platforms and in theatres around the show on key topics such as the recent Royal accent of the Building Safety Bill, the challenges of UKCA and what the passive fire industry is doing to align itself to these demands.”
