Genie has announced a partnership with FST Biometrics to support deployment of the latter’s In Motion Identification platform in the UK.
Combining facial recognition, behavioral analytics, and voice analytics In Motion Identification provides “a seamless and non-invasive identification use for access control”, according to a press release issued by Genie.
In Motion Identification can identify authorised individuals from a distance and while they are ‘in-motion’, as hte name suggests.
In Motion Identification is underpinned by ST Biometrics’ core software, IMID Access, which provides identity management and access-control solutions, advanced visitor management, fraud detection and remote monitoring, among other things.
“We are delighted to be partnering with FST Biometrics,” says Steve Baker, CEO at Genie, a Hertfordshire-based manufacturer and distributor of CCTV and access-control products.
“This is a great opportunity for us to widen our access control product portfolio and implement this cutting edge technology into our upcoming projects.
