IFSEC Interviews: Salto Systems – ‘Moving away from traditional access control credentials’

Speaking to IFSEC Insider at IFSEC 2023 in May, Salto Systems Managing Director, Ramesh Gurdev, gives an overview of the new tech innovations being brought to the access control marketplace such as mobile credentials and facial biometrics systems.

Ramesh explains how this next generation of access control products are supporting more flexible and manageable solutions for commercial enterprises. Partnerships are crucial in this, with Salto working with its partner Cognitec, for its facial biometrics system, for instance.

We also hear about Salto’s first step into the residential market with Homlok. The system integrates with Apple Wallet on mobile devices, and is designed to provide an agile and secure solution for both building managers and homeowners, who can provide and revoke access as and when it’s required.
